Born in Carson, CA RaVaughn's Passion for music started at an early age. At the age of four she began playing the piano and by the age of nine she was studying the world of musical theatre at Amazing Grace Conservatory under the tutelage of Wendy Raquel Robinson. At sixteen, she won two rounds of and qualified for the finals in "Showtime at the Apollo" at the famous Apollo Theatre in New York City. After attending college in New York and putting out a few demos, she became a session singer on the hit television show Glee. Shortly thereafter, she signed to NeYo's imprint Compound University and soon after Columbia Records.

Nicknamed by NeYo as "The New Voice of Women" RaVaughn is a natural songstress whose frank, yet sophisticated swag--paired with inventive melodies and sassy riffs--brings a barrier-breaking vitality to R&B/Pop. That's because her versatile style was honed doing demos and background work for marquee names such as Celine Dion, Natasha Bedingfield, Kelly Clarkson, Brandy, and Keri Hilson to name a few.

After taking a two year break to refresh and rediscover her passion for the gift she was given, RaVaughn is back and ready to share her truth.  Her new music will speak on her experiences of love and hurt, life and new beginnings. She invites you to join her journey.
